Drag the seam — left of it is the SDR JPEG (standard dynamic range), right of it is the same JPEG as an Ultra HDR gain map at full boost — 6x headroom. The encoder zeroes the gain wherever the source alpha is 0, so only the mark's own ink gets the Ultra boost; the checkerboard behind it stays flat SDR.
